David Seall
David has been designing and constructing gardens and outdoor spaces in surrey for 21 years and this year was the contractor for "Mist Placed" a Silver Medal winner at Chelsea (See Chelsea section in projects).
David trained at Merrist Wood, Surrey in horticulture and landscaping and has created many projects, mainly within Surrey, specialising in large private gardens. David has a HND in Environmental Management and a Diploma in Garden Design, which has led to works with local government.
He continues to create beautiful gardens; environmental projects now merge with garden building. For David, the whole process of creating beautiful places for his clients and/or the public to enjoy is a large part of his reward.
A strong knowledge of environmental principles is used whenever possible to increase the bio-diversity and therefore the richness of his clients’ surroundings.
David's sidekick is a new addition, a Siberian Tiger Hound.
Aims for 2010
David is very keen on bringing conservation of the English countryside and the many fantastic species of plant and subsequently the wildlife that they attract into his Landscape designs.
He feels that good garden design need not always be purely about the use of expensive imported materials, fighting against our island weather and indigenous flora and fauna. To be able to create truly beautiful gardens in an environmentally sustainable way, working to highlight the undoubted majesty of our natural environment. The cohesion of all that is available. Landscape Environment Design
To summarise David is very keen on Natural swimming ponds and would like by the end of this year to incorporate one of these invigorating experiences into a Seall garden design.
